Veterinarians routinely visit the dairy farm to give cows health maintenance checks. Dairy farmers also call their vet in the event of illnesses or injuries since their focus is to keep their animals healthy.
Dairy farmers work with cow nutritionists to make sure their cows have a balanced diet and the perfect feed for the herd. These experts understand the science behind feeding dairy cows and create the right diet for a cow’s life.
Hoof trimmers are trained professionals who trim cow hooves on a regular basis to help maintain foot comfort. It’s like a spa day for the cows!
