Chadron State Park

Chadron, NE; Dawes County

Nebraska’s first state park – Chadron State Park – was established in 1921. And although a lot has changed in the past 100 years, this park is still an amazing place to visit. This is a great place to view Nebraska’s Pine Ridge habitat – or, if you are up for a hike or mountain bike ride, try one of the 10 miles of trails.
